Here in Pennsylvania Dutch Country you'll discover Amish communities where life moves at a slower pace. Step back in time and enjoy a steam engine train ride on The Strasburg Railroad, America's oldest short-line, a Welcome Dinner at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania among the giant locomotives, and a tour on country roads to the Concours site at Grimes Airfield, home of the Golden Age Air Museum, where you can explore the past, learn how early aviators flew, see what they flew, and learn about the lost art of early aircraft construction a perfect place to display our 356s.
The Holiday will kick off with a driving tour to DuPont Country Club and lunch at Brantwyn (a former DuPont family estate). Following lunch there are two options: 1) you can play a round of golf at the Country Club, or 2) while cars are on display at Brantwyn, take a chartered 10 minute bus ride from Brantwyn to Winterthur Museum and Afternoon Tea upon your return to Brantwyn. Thursday evening will feature a Wine and Cheese reception in the Hospitality Suite.
And, of course, you can enjoy the traditional components of the Holiday; Tech Sessions, Swap Meet, Literature and Memorabilia Meet, Concours followed by Saturday Banquet, Sunday Continental Breakfast, the Hospitality Suite, and Goodie Store (see the Schedule).
There's so much to see and do nearby, you may want to come early and / or stay late to enjoy all that Lancaster County has to offer (see Local Attractions).
