My 1961 356B T5 normal coupe was purchased in Fresno California in 1987. It replaced a ’56 coupe I had back when I couldn’t afford one. The two-tone (yellow at one end, Bondo at the other) daily driver has been the most reliable car in the family for nearly twenty years. It rescued my son when he totaled the Mazda the day he got his driver’s license, it attended a prom or two, and it hauled lumber, manure, and even an expired goat to a necropsy in the next county. If any car deserved a makeover, this one did. More when I get it back together.
