1963 356B #212104 This is a matching #s car
that I got off of Ebay for a good price. The only catch was I
had to trailer it back from Oklahoma to Brooklyn, that was fun.
Rumor has that the engine was rebuilt and then the owner died,
20 years ago. It has some interesting aspects to it like the
custom floor pans. They are a combination of plywood on top,
V-crimp tin sheets on bottom and bondo around the edges, real
nice. I recently moved the car to my new garage space and will
be going through the mechanicals shortly. One good thing about
the car is that it is complete, down to the
bumpers. The bad thing is that I expect I will touch every inch
of the car before the restoration is done.
