| My wife surprised me with a black '65 C coupe on my 36th birthday - it was sitting in the driveway for all of the neighbors to gawk at when I came home from work. I grew up with an uncle who drove
Porsches and always said that I would buy one but this was a complete surprise. Beautiful car and in decent driver shape although I know almost nothing about it's history.
The VIN is #221035 and engine #716388, originally slate gray exterior with red interior delivered 12/2/1964. I believe it was repainted black sometime in the 1980s but am not sure. The car was last located in Southern Virginia and I have very sparse service records for the past 15 years (my wife found it at a classic car dealer in Leesburg, VA). If anyone knows anything about this car I would love an email -
