I have been the caretaker of #84084 Speedster since 1976. A
former PCA and 356 Registry Concours winner, this Speedster has
been a joy to own and drive.
#102388 coupe was restored from a roller in 1994 for vintage
racing. It replicates the 1958 Sebring entry #40 driven by von
Hanstein and Linge. The coupe has been actively campaigned...in
commemorative races at Sebring, Watkins Glen, Monterey, Lime
Rock, and Daytona for the 50th Anniversary Historics and all of
the Rennsport events.
Both the Speedster and coupe are "true siblings" as they were
built just a week apart (11/ '57) in Stuttgart...and probably
shared some quality time together on the factory's assembly line
floor!
