After selling my XKE 5 or 6 years ago the search began for another 356 (previously owned '58 Speedster and '59 Coupe). The "A" body style was always most attractive to me so began looking in Hemmings and calling those in the know who might have a lead for me including Phil at Klub Sport in

Saw attractive ad in Hemmings and after much back and forth communications, and talking to Vic Skirmants who had briefly seen the car, I made an offer which was accepted, and had the car shipped down, sight unseen - except for photos. I don't recommend it but this time it turned out very well. The restoration was not totally complete and the work continues.
She is finished in Sahara Beige over red vinyl with oatmeal carpets. Extremely solid car that drives like a 356 should. My only regret is I know little of the history and the seller was not forthcoming with this info for whatever reason.
