A short description of the Rally...
IBERIA Classic is a regularity event for historic cars. (Sept 27 - Oct 04
2003)
The rally starts with the climbing of French Pyrenean mountains. The 4 days
continental rally routing will let cross Spanish Pyrenean, Cataluna, Sierras
of La Mancha until Valencia. Then, we reach PALMA Island on a ferryboat for
another 2 days rallying in the north part of the island.
The route is to be navigated and an average speed of 50 per hour (31, 24
miles per hour) or below is to be observed. This event takes place on open
roads and belongs to the regularity « ballade » for historic cars and
therefore it is not a speed competition.
On the sporting side, almost 40 RT (regularity test), have been included in
the rally.
