Here’s the abbreviated version of this little car’s story. My
father originally purchased the car in 1963 but after some
engine trouble it was sold it in 1976. After years of searching
and more years of coercion (14 years,) the man who bought it
from my father sold it back to me and it underwent a complete
restoration. We are all happy to have the Slate Gray beauty back
home. Thanks to the many Registry Members who answered questions
and the various vendors who had a hand in the project: Larry
Markham, Richard Dick, Hung Luu, Russ Rodriguez, Bob Campbell
and Joe Leoni.
