I have always wanted to own a classic Porsche and as I live in London - England and only use a car for limited mileage at weekends I decided to take the plunge! After a lot of research and great advice from the likes of Bill Block, Jim Schrager and Al Zim ( Thanks Guys) to name but a few I finally decided on my beautiful Slate Grey C Coupe.

I was lucky enough to get in contact with Uwe Biegner based in Frankfurt - Germany who was just finishing a restoration which had taken the best part of two years to complete. After lots of phone calls and emails I eventually flew over for the day to view and test drive the car and immediately knew it was the one. I finally picked her up on 15th December '05 and drove her across Europe to get her home where she now takes pride of place in my garage.

The car was manufactured 30th July 1963 and was first registered in Verona - Italy where it stayed until the mid '80's. It was then purchased and shipped back to Germany and a partial restoration was carried out. For one reason or another the car was never fully
completed and waited patiently until 2004 when Uwe came across the car and worked towards getting her back on the road.
