My father sold his red 356 Roadster to buy my mother her engagement ring. She was driving a green 1957 Coupe at the time, pictured below. I always said that was my favorite car. Last year my wife surprised me with this Convertible D after a long, long search. The car had been restored and then left in storage for most of the last 15 years. It is not perfect, but the whole family enjoys it including my parents who live in town.
