The car was purchased by Fran's father in
Lawrence, MA back in 1962. It was driven until 1975 and stored
in a garage until 2000 when Fran's Dad decided to send it out to
be restored. About a month after sending the car to the
restorer, my father-in-law passed away leaving the car to my
wife and I. We continued with the "Bare Metal/ Bare Rust"
restoration which took two years. Our Speedster carries alot of
memories for my wife and has a special place in both our hearts.
It will be something that hopefully will remain in our family
and passed down through future generations.
